Kelsa & Geary | Contest Winners {Couples Photography}

As soon as I posted my first giveaway on Facebook, I had two email entries almost instantly. I heard the sound of a new email coming from my mobile device. It was like music to my ears. I figured it was probably my sister, or my mother since they read my posts almost before I hit the enter button.

To my surprise, the first email was from my friend Kelsa. We went to the same church together when we were little, and were pretty good friends then. Our families went separate ways. They moved, we both switched churches. We tried to keep in touch through "secret" letters. She used to send me tons of photos of herself. I was always so jealous of how gorgeous she was.

We didn't see each other for years, until one day while wandering around WCCC, my first semester of college, our eyes met and we talked and hugged. She introduced me to her best friend Geary. We ate lunch together a few times. Had a couple of funny conversations recalling her past obsession with President George W. Bush and our "marble club."

Then she transferred to Seton Hill, and I didn't hear from her again until a friend of ours was turning 21, and she wanted to throw her a party and wanted me to come.

I said yes absolutely! I had never been to her house. I had heard it was huge. And no surprise there.
You see, Kelsa's family adopted 8 kids. Most of them from Guatemala. 8 kids plus her and her brother Isaac, and their parents. That must be one big house!

I was most certainly wowed by the size of their house and how big their "yard" was. (If you can call it that.) Acres upon acres of flat property. Like a dream.

But it was really fun getting to see her and her family again and hang out with them til almost 4am.

After that, I was invited to come again to her brothers graduation party that summer. I saw so many people I knew from the past. It was amazing and so much fun.

So when I heard the sound of a new email, I was excited it was her. Then I looked at my second email that I had just received. It was from Geary.

They must've really wanted to win. Like really.

So I told her if she won, I might let them do a combined shoot. Maybe.

And what really are the chances that one of them will win?

It was kind of funny because the "household objects" that each of them wanted to use in their photoshoot went together.

I'm sure they didn't plan that at all. -- ha. ha.

Kelsa wrote "PILLOWS!"
Geary wrote "MY COUCH!"

Clearly they were not sitting next to each other when they sent me those emails.

Now there is something you have to understand about these two. When you put them together, they can be absolutely hilarious. They are constantly making jokes. I swear they do not ever stop laughing and smiling.

Anyway, we decided that they were going to have a pillow fight. Feather pillows and all. I will be honest. I had no idea how this was going to work. It's not like in the movies where you just start hitting each other and feathers start flying.

Geary assisted in helping out with that part. He just so happened to have a knife, a very sharp knife, on his person.

After they got a few good whacks in and feather started flying, something really funny happened.

Geary had feathers stuck to his eyes. He looked so hilarious, Kelsa fell on the ground and I'm pretty sure laughed so hard, she was crying. Of course this gave him the advantage over her once he pulled away his new unibrow.

The feathers were everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. It was so pretty. But at the same time, it looked like we were standing in the middle of KFC's slaughter house.

As far as I am concerned, Kelsa is one of the most beautiful women in the world. Geary is one lucky guy.

They make a super cute couple too. :)

Like I said, there were A TON of feathers.
Which reminds me, which weighs more? A ton of feathers? or a ton of bricks?
Just something to think about.

I wish you two the best in the future. :) I cannot wait to see what God has planned for the both of you.
